.In my opinion the original CD recording Mozart "Piano Concertos 24 & 25" of Ivan Moravec & Neville Marriner is a bit accomplished, with the piano placed "at the corner" of the left channel. It's curious that the other one, Mozart "Piano Concertos 20 & 23" of Ivan Moravec & Neville Marriner, of the same publisher and the same serie, is properly recorded. For this reason, and because it's all right with the CD, I posted the original version and not the "special edition" of it.
.
I'll just post two CDs, the original CD and "Special Edition", only when necessary. Isn't the case. I don't like the original recording of the Mozart CD "Piano Concertos 24 & 25" of Ivan Moravec & Neville Marriner. Those who want the original, is available for download in a famous site/blog ... or buy it :)
.
Post the same CD in mp3 + flac / original + "special edition" is a lot! :) I've done it in some cases on this blog but this requires spending too much time... I'll try to do this when it is justified.
.
I will not change the philosophy of this blog. I'm sorry. There are many blogs where you can find many CDs as you want... or buy the original. Sorry and I hope you understand. After all, most visitors did not prefer the "original". Who knows what is the original?... This would be a long conversation...
.
Many CDs posted on the blog are the original versions. When it is not the case there will always be a warning: "Special Version". The decision to make the download is yours. One of the features of this blog is to post CDs that are not easily obtained elsewhere, publish different pianists, compare works and ... the "Special Editions". It will remain so.
.Note: download the file "comparative", which contains two small samples of Mozart "Piano Concertos 24 & 25" of Ivan Moravec & Neville Marriner and, again, compare the original version and the special edition.

amazing post..
thanks.
To me this is one of the three most interesting blogs related to classical music (blogs for downloading CDs). I don't like blogs that post a lot and without discretion. The characteristics mentioned by you are the quality and the good difference of this blog. Thank you for your commitment and good taste.
I downloaded the original CD in another blog and did this on your blog. I recorded the two files to CD-R (audio) and I've been listening. I prefer yours. Thank you.
and thank you fly for losslessing former mp3
Dear Fly,
your home, your rules! Thank you for sharing this great performer on Mozart. Moravec is brand new to my ears. So thank you, obrigado.
Best, Kike.

With my rules but always available to hear your views and change if necessary.
Moravec is an excellent pianist with many good recordings. Many consider that his Chopin's "Nocturnes" are the ultimate recording of this work. I think Moravec has a glitch: too disciplined and methodical. I prefer Rubinstein's "Nocturnes".
