I really like these versions and later bought the remastered version of the Philips Duo with better sound.
I think people have the recent issue and I thought this one (the first edition for cd) would be more interesting for its rarity.
I think this issue isn't on the Net and that's why I chose it.
If you wish I do a post with the remastered edition. If so, tell me.

Fly, another winner, Sometimes I find Richter, despite his obvious gifts and prowess, a tad sterile and harsh, but per the sample when paired with Rostropovich's warm tones it achieves wonderful synergy.

I will enjoy this post and as always appreciate your generosity and effort.

Hi again, Fly. For some reason I could not get the FLAC to split correctly with your cue (I use medeival Cue Splitter) but the 320 kbps mp3's sound just fine, so thanks again, my friend!

Best,

BTW, I enjoyed this performance so thoroughtly that I found a related remastered version on Demonoid, 24 bit / 96 kHz. The rasp of Rosty's cello and the rumbling left hand bass of Richter is astonishiongly brought to life even more so than in the version you so graciously offered. It is a true sonic treat and the performances of course are hugely moving, dare I say even inspiring. Let me know if you need the link!

Richter/Rostropovich are incomparable at any level of audio clarity. Your generosity is appreciated greatly. The remastered version would be welcome, but it's your time and effort. Many thanks!
