Excellent posts these last two -- I already own these, and the Wanderer Trio is one of my favorite. I also like David Fray a lot, but this particular CD disappointed me a bit I guess... I preferred his Bach.

I agree with you. David Fray is an excellent pianist but still needs to 'grow'.

Dear Fly, Regarding David Fray, I got hold (on avax) of a cd that was added as a bonus by the uploader of Fray's Schubert Wanderer/Liszt Sonata cd on Atma Classics. This bonus cd, a live recording of a concert at the 2006 Piano Festival Rhine-Ruhr, was apparently offered to subscribers of the German magazine Fono Forum. Do you know that cd ? If not, as an admirer of David Fray I urge you to get it, it is quite excellent--actually better than the Atma cd in my opinion.

Yes, I agree with you. I didn't post it because I think this cd (David Schubert Liszt Piano Fray - Atma Classics) is available elsewhere. Thanks for the advice.
