I thought the Great Pianists series CDs are 2 in a set. And I looked at your scans, there is NO 2nd disc.

Also you mentioned 'special edition'. I understand the live edition, with audience noise, is a later practice, so your CD is an early edition ?

Yes, this is one of four CDs in the serie "Great Pianists of the 20th Century: The Complete Edition (200 CD box set)" that are dedicated to Shura.

Such CDs are easily found on the net (see, for example, the very recent publication made ​​by blog Boxset.ru, Vol.17 - Shura Cherkassky I and Vol.18 - Shura Cherkassky II).

I will not publish the four cds. The choice is always of the visitor. I propose alternatives. One aim of my blog is to make the publication of cds that are not found easily on the net: cds out of print, cds without covers, rare cds, cds to offer, promotion, evaluation, criticism, analysis, testing and ... special editions.

This, and many others will as well, and this has better sound than the original.
