Ingolf Wunder / Winner Second Prize (ex equo)




Ingolf Wunder winner second prize (ex equo) in the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, 2010 and two special awards: Warsaw Philharmonic for the best performance of a concerto and Vice-chancellor of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music for the best performance of the Polonaise-Fantasie in A flat major, Op. 61,

Born 8 September 1985 in Klagenfurt. Graduate of the Universität für Musik und Dartellende Kunst Wien. He is currently studying with Adam Harasiewicz. Has performed in many countries, including Austria, Spain, Argentina and across Poland.

In 2006 performed Chopin’s first Piano Concerto with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Agnieszka Duczmal in the Concert Hall of the Poznan University. Has appeared at the Berlin Konzerthaus, Wiener Musikverein and Tonhalle in Zurich.
